Do you remember playing in the creeks as a kid? Well here is your opportunity to relive those childhood moments! We're heading to the watersheds of the Piedmont of South Carolina to sein and catch all different types fish, frogs, and crustaceans. You'll be surprised at how many different types of fish live in your local creek that aren't Bream, Bass, or Catfish. At certain times of year the fish we'll find like Bluehead Chub, Yellowfin Shiner, and Piedmont Darters can look like those you would find on a tropical reef in the ocean! This kid-friendly safari is the perfect opportunity to get the whole family outside and make memories you'll be talking about for years to come!

You will need to wear clothes you don't mind getting wet as well as closed-toed shoes. We suggest old sneakers or work boots.

Itinerary
We will meet in the parking lot of US Post Office in Jenkinsville at 9:30am. Once we've all arrived we'll get back into our cars and caravan a short distance down to our entry point into Little River. We'll park our cars off the side of the road and walk a short distance to the water. From there we'll spend about 2 hours surveying the creek for the various fish species & aquatic life that live in this watershed.

Guests who arrive late will be left behind and unable to receive a refund.

Please note: This will be a physically active safari. We will wade out into the middle of the creek and working to catch creek fish with seines and dipnets. You will be in waist-deep water. We will have water provided, but it is also recommended to bring your own.
In the unlikely event of inclement weather, we may cancel or postpone the trip the day prior to departure and will call the number you provided on your reservation to let you know. If a trip is cancelled before we embark we will try to reschedule your trip for a later date or offer you a full refund. We can't control the weather, but we can make sure you get the best experience possible.
Cancellation Policy
We require 5 DAYS NOTICE to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund. If you cancel within the 5 day period, you will not be refunded.
